Gynecomastia

Gynecomastia is the enlargement of breast tissue in men. Sometimes drugs can also trigger gynecomastia. Malignant tumor development in the male breast is very rare, but should be excluded.

If the cause of gynecomastia is hormonal or drug-related, an attempt can be made to reduce the breast size with hormone therapy or medication changes. However, in most cases, there is no hormone problem and gynecomastia can be managed surgically.
